The following applications are very convenient for burning images to a
microSD card. You can also burn images for NanoPi and other operating
systems.
This
is called ImageYar. I use it on Fedora Linux, but I believe Ubuntu has
the official version. You can enable SSH and set a password.

There are no Echer commands or applications on Linux, so after
installation, you will write data to the microSD card using commands
from the terminal.
Before that, be sure to format it with Gparted. It will be FAT32.
Make sure to format it correctly. If you cannot format it, completely
delete the data with fdisk,
format it, and then format it again with Gparted. In this case, since
it is Linux, the procedure will vary considerably depending on the OS.
Regarding music servers, a music server
is a server
that allows you to listen to music at any time using your home LAN .
You are probably familiar with other types of servers, such as file
servers. This is an introduction to an application that utilizes an
application called MPD.
A music server is a machine that stores music on a hard drive and
allows you to freely listen to music that suits your taste. A music
server is
part of an audio system that converts digital signals into analog signals and connects them to an amplifier for sound.
The MPD application is excellent and can read music in any format and file type.
The application is downloaded from the internet via the MPD ORG, compiled, and installed on the music server.
Famous music server operating systems include Volumio3 and Moodeaudio. These are installed on Raspberry Pi, but
in this case, you install them yourself on a small, commercially available single-board computer. This page
mainly uses boards from single-board PCs such as Nanopi-neo and Raspberry Pi.
It is said that Sony is involved with the MPD ORG.

Now it's time to compile and install mpd. As always, you will have
to download and compile the mpd source. The compilation and installation
methods have changed.
This is a change in the method of installing mpd from source, which
has changed since 0.21.XX. In the case of Dietpi, there is only a route,
so please add a general user. In this state

以上です。OSをインストール時に自動的にインストールされているアプリケーションもあります。Ninja とmeson やCmakeはバージョンが合ってないと
ソースからのコンパイルが出来ませんので各自勉強して最新にしておきましょう。なるべくなら pip は使いません、pipはソースなどからインストールしたバイナリーと競合します。
ninja-build と meson はapt install でインストールしましょう若しくはソースをコンパイルしてインストールします。
最終的には以下のコマンドで音のドライバーを確認しましょう。
$ sudo aplay -l で音のドライバーを確認しましょう。各 使う Editor はデフォルトのnano でも構いませんが emacs が大変使い安いと思う。
$ sudo apt install emacs で emacs を インストール出来ます。大変便利です。

src 以下のファイルは全て残して置きます。ソースをコンパイルしてバイナリーを作った場合インストールしていきます。アンインストールもこのスレッドが残っていれば削除も出来ます。

This music server uses an OS that hackers cannot attack. mympd v 10 bookworm raspbian OS
Creating
the OS from the internet yields better results. The latest archives can
be written to a microSD card. SSH can also be configured without any
problems. While
the BOOTFS directory is named BOOT, it appears as BOOTFS from the
outside. config.tex is not located under boot, but under fireware.
These measures are likely in place to prevent hackers from attacking.
This is quite good practice in an apartment building like mine, where
there are hackers of Korean descent living in Japan.

Updating MPD and how to compile and install the new MPD.
Find
the new source from the MPD.org website mentioned above. Once you find
the desired MPD, right-click the FTP URL and copy the URL.
Download it to the command line on the SSH terminal of the MPS
server. Copy the URL. Click on the text line with the mouse to download
it. It will look like this:
$ sudo wget mpd---zzz.xxx,tar.gz. Download it. Then extract it from
the command line. Write something like tar xvf mpd-----xxx.tar.gz.
After it is extracted, you will go to something like $ cd
mpd.zzz.xxx.img. Compilation will then begin. The compilation process is
described in the documentation on the MPD site.
Compilation will begin from there. Compilation may take half a day to
several days. If it completes without errors, a binary will be created.
Install that binary.
If the binary is already installed, uninstall it. After uninstalling,
installing the new MPD binary will make it work with the new mpd.
If it's already running, a pre-built binary is installed, so
uninstall it and then install the binary obtained from the new
compilation. The installation
may take a day or several days, but compilation may finish in a few hours. After that, you will configure mpd.conf.
Music
Servet Summary: This is a project that was previously experimented with
but stalled due to lack of funding and parts shortages caused by the
COVID-19 pandemic. Let's list them below.
These
days, it's quicker to install a new distribution than to compile,
because the performance hasn't changed since mpd 024. The
reason compilation is difficult is that MPD is developed using
Windows Visual Code, which takes a very long time to compile on a Linux
terminal.
GitHub is owned by Microsoft, and Linus creates the kernel, but the developers are Microsoft compiling it using Windows.
What a dirty world! Maybe AI is doing it and no humans are
painstakingly compiling it. I don't know how stupid it is for a poor old
man like me to painstakingly compile it using Linux command line.
Debian-
based systems have removed the sound driver, so there is no sound output from a single board via SPDIF.
They say the 2038 problem is avoided with 32-bit systems, so I don't think 32-bit versions will disappear forever.
